Easy DIY Flooring Projects – All About Tiles

Whether the location is your bathroom, the kitchen, the sunroom or any other area of the home, tiles can be a great flooring option. They’re durable and attractive. They can last a lifetime or more and still provide beauty to an important part of the room. For the do-it-yourselfer, tiles offer many advantages.

Tiles are versatile.

As a shape, ’tile’ doesn’t refer only to ceramic. They can be made of vinyl, slate, brick or even wood. That variety makes them the most versatile type of flooring. They can be used with equal effectiveness in the basement, the kid’s playroom or the foyer. That makes selection a lot of fun, since there are so many types and designs to choose from.

Perhaps you need an ultra-durable flooring material to cover the entranceway to the home. Ceramic works great. Snow, mud and other outdoor matter present no problem. You may be looking to dress up the bathroom, to give a rich, relaxing look that is also functional. Easy. Vinyl, finished hardwood, ceramic or even slate will do the job.

Tiles are easy to install.

With only a little instruction, anyone can lay tile straight and level. With just a little care, it’s hard to go wrong laying tile. One might think that getting them all to move along the same line could be tricky. But simple techniques make this easy.

By the same token, it might appear at first blush that getting grout into the space between them could be hard to do well. What about smearing? What about bubbles and cracks? It turns out that, thanks to the excellent materials, laying grout cleanly that lasts forever is a lot easier than it looks.

Tiles are durable.

Once they’re down, even inexpensive vinyl tile will last for years and years. Some ceramic tiles hundreds of years old are still doing the job in old homes and buildings. Durability arises both from the hardness of the material and the modularity of the design. Tiles can be replaced. Even if one cracks due to weather, faulty manufacturing or just randomly, it’s not that difficult to remove it and lay down a replacement.

Tiles are easy to care for.

A quick wet mop and dirt and food disappear. Most stains will wipe up with a sponge. Dust and dog hair can be easily whisked away with a broom or a vacuum cleaner. Grout takes a little more effort, but if it’s treated properly a little grout cleaner can keep it sparkling, too.

Most of all, tile is beautiful.

Because tiles are available in materials like slate, polished porcelain types and others, there is a tile that will appeal to all tastes. Whether one prefers the rich dark look of slate, the cheery look and feel of red brick, or the subtle sheen of a soft pink ceramic, there’s a tile material that will please the eye.

Look into all the options available with tile and you’ll quickly find something that suits your needs.

Seven Quick Credit Repair Solutions

Fast Credit Repair

Would you like a quick credit score boost? Would you like to get your credit repair effort off to a fast start? Here are some awesome tips from one of the most respected credit repair experts around. Start your engines!

Credit Repair Hyper Drive

Credit repair can take time, or not. There are many situations where you can get amazing results very quickly. Your credit scores can have a profound impact on your life, and every point counts. Here are seven potent power-packed credit repair solutions you can put to use right away. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Get Your Revolving Balances Down

Fair Isaac Corp, the mastermind behind the credit scores used by virtually all lenders, has been tinkering with the formula they use to calculate your scores. The recent additional emphasis they have put on revolving balances has taken many people by surprise. Are you listening? A maxed out card can now cost you as much as 150 points. Ouch!

Well, there is some good credit repair news here too; pay your darn balances down and watch your score rocket upward. Want to know how far to pay your cards down? Under forty percent is good, under twenty percent is the best. If money is tight you might even consider borrowing from friends and family to make this happen. If you need your scores for a mortgage or car loan you may be living with that interest rate for many years to come.

Challenge Iffy Collections

Do you have collections? Are you ready for a little credit repair magic? Collectors are very different from creditors. Collectors buy and sell collection accounts. When a collector purchases an account they can report it to the credit bureaus. When they sell an account they are supposed to remove the collection from your credit entirely. Unfortunately, there is no incentive for them to cease reporting, so you need to challenge these items. If the collector no longer owns the account you will see it vanish from your credit report. It’s credit repair magic.

Negotiate for Deletion

There is a silver lining to the recession that we are currently struggling through. Collectors are as hungry as everyone else. If a collector contacts you for payment on a legitimate debt you may discover they are willing to negotiate. Your balance is not the only thing that you can negotiate. Collectors have the ability to withdraw the entire account from your credit report. It might be a relief to get an old debt paid off, but when it comes to credit repair it is better to have no collection account on your report than a paid collection.

Boost Your Credit Limits

The credit crunch has caused credit card issuers to tighten their guidelines. Little credit blemishes may now trigger over-the-top responses from credit card companies. American Express has been on a campaign to reduce credit limits on card holders for almost any reason. So this tactic may not work, but it’s worth a try as there are still a few friendly creditors out there. Call your credit card company and ask them to increase your limit. The result will be the same as if you had paid your balance down. For the cost of a phone call you might increase your scores, and maybe a lot!

Call Mom and Become an Authorized User

Another little twist that Fair Isaac Corp added to their latest version of their credit score formula is to block the benefit of purchased authorized user accounts. Until recently you could purchase authorized user status from gray-market brokers and watch your score jump right up. Fair Isaac caught on and put an end to this iffy credit repair practice. However, their filters are still allowing the full benefit for legitimate authorized users. So call Mom and have her add you to one of her perfect credit cards for a nice credit repair boost.

Avoid Store Cards

Store cards, and more generally, consumer credit (such as furniture store accounts) are useless for building your credit, and are likely to put a big dent in your scores. So if you are shopping and are offered a new account in exchange for a discount, think twice. Saving money is a beautiful thing! But if you need your credit scores in the immediate future for any major purchase avoid these accounts like the plague. How bad is it? You are likely to lose one hundred points. It’s credit repair suicide.

Call Credit Repair Pro

If you really want to put some muscle behind your credit repair effort, call a credit repair professional. They will proof read your credit reports, identify everything that should be done and insure that you are not missing anything. When it comes to credit repair every little bit counts. Good luck!

Did you know you can save a lot of money by buying your diabetes medical supplies on the Internet? Are you also aware that many of these retailers are not based in the U.S. and therefore not subject to FDA laws or standards? If you’re considering the purchase of your diabetes supplies and equipment online, keep reading to find out what you can do to protect yourself.

U.S. Supplier

If you’re buying diabetes medical supplies off a web-based company, look for one that’s either based in the United States or your own country. Even if the prices are better, a supplier stationed in a foreign land isn’t held to the same quality standards as one here. Remember, this is your health.

On top of potentially being unsafe, importing foreign drugs or medical equipment may be against the law and could get you into serious trouble with U.S. customs. So, don’t risk your health or your record by buying medical supplies from outside the country.

Prescription Required When Needed

Not all types of insulin require a prescription, but if yours requires one either nationally or in your state, then always purchase from a seller that obligates you to submit proof of prescription. Buying a prescription-only product without a prescription is illegal.

Check the Shipping Policy

Before you buy from an online retailer, find out how the goods are shipped. Are they properly protected against breakage and possible contamination? How fast do they ship and by what methods? If they send your product by ground then how do they ensure the package won’t be pierced or possibly damaged? And don’t forget to include the shipping costs into your total costs calculation. If the shipping is outrageous, then your online deal may not be such a steal after all.

Scan Customer Reviews

Before you buy a product online, you should read the customer reviews of both the online retailer and the product itself. For example, if you’re in the market for a new test strip system, be sure to peruse the customer reviews of other users. They should be right on the retailer’s website.

You should also read retailer reviewers. It’s here that customers talk about a retailer’s customer service, their shipping fees, return policy and the overall buying experience. To find reviews for online retailers, try sites like Nextag or Froogle.

Be Wary of Purchasing on eBay

Unless a seller has a stellar reputation with strong customer feedback from buyers who have purchased diabetes medical supplies specifically, then stay away. eBay is full of expired products, recalled brands and rejected stock items that aren’t suitable for the regular market.

Unless you’re buying from a seller that has excellent feedback from customers who have purchased diabetes medical supplies in the past, then you should stay away.

Your purchase of any equipment for the care of diabetes is nothing to take lightly. Though we all want to save money on health care costs, none of us should take undue risks related to the quality of those items.

So Who Needs to do STCW95 Crew Basis Training?

Wherever crew choose to do basic training and whatever they pay it is a lot of money when you don’t have a job! Quite simply, you need a job to pay for basic training and you need basic training to get a job! Sound familiar?

So do you REALLY need to do basic training or is this a myth that no-one has thought to challenge?

Here I am going to explore the realities and the myths that surround this subject. I shall start with a simple answer to the above question; the answer is NO! and also YES!

Oh dear! Now I sound like a lawyer. So let’s start with the legal facts…….who LEGALLY must attend basic training? That’s easy to answer for some people. Anyone who wishes to obtain a Yacht Rating Certificate, an Officer of the Watch, Chief Mate or Masters certificate or anyone who wishes to attend the Medical First Aid course or gain a Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue boats must obtain the relevant basic training module before they can even be admitted to the advanced course.

As far as the other members of the crew are concerned Section 6.1 of the STCW convention states clearly that:

“seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board on the business of the ship as part of the ships compliment with designated safety or pollution prevention duties shall, before being assigned any shipboard duties [attend 4 element basic training]”

So, in fact the rules have stopped short of formally requiring all yacht crew to attend as an automatic requirement. They have said that all crew who have a nominated role in the emergency organisation should attend 4 element basic training. So what does THAT mean?

It is possible to imagine that on a passenger ship with a crew of maybe 1500 there could be a few of them spare in an emergency but in a yacht crew of, say ,15 it is hard to imagine someone without something to do in an emergency! It means that nannies, masseurs, secretaries, butlers and security guards etc. do not need to do basic training but, practically speaking, everyone else does.

But to hell with legal requirements! Basic training is not about legal technicalities. It is about YOUR safety and the safety of your fellow crew members and your guests. The MCA place a lot of emphasis on the importance of this programme and you should note the recent comments by the Chief Examiner, Captain Roger Towner at a PYA seminar, to the effect that they consider that five full days of instruction are needed as a minimum for the course material to be properly presented. A course provider in Budapest was specifically mentioned as being sub standard; using videos instead of practical training, they ran all four courses plus Crisis Management and Crowd Control in one weekend! Don’t sell yourself short – train properly!

Don’t forget that basic training is only the first step in gaining the professional knowledge that new crew need to be safe and effective team members; the other key element is the yacht specific training that should be organised on board.

So in the end the answer is an emphatic YES! Those who have not taken their basic training courses already find it difficult to find work whether on large yachts or small. Management companies and crew are all making it a requirement. But the thing to remember is that there is a reason for this: these courses are genuinely REALLY IMPORTANT!

Become a Driving Instructor

Okay….. so you have seen the ads on the television showing you how that’s on becoming a driving instructor you will be striving forward in a bountiful industry where large earnings are more than capable of being achieved…..but is the reality the same as the advertisements portray.

Well I suppose the first hurdle that one has to overcome is the passing of the 3 part stage DSA exam. What could be the trouble with that I hear you ask? Maybe the fact that the ads do not tell you that the pass rate is quite low. The pass rates for each of the three parts of the examination in 2006/2007 were:

Theory test (part 1): 49%

Test of driving ability (part 2): 45%

Test of instructional ability (part 3): 28%

So basically if 100 people attempt Stage 3 on average only 28 will be successful. That equates to less than a third. This is a large piece of information that the ads do not inform you.

To examine how this figure is so low one must look at how the required elements of driving instruction is taught traditionally. Many of the advertised Driving Instructor Colleges give an intensive course over a period of weeks to teach all the required practices that a potential Driving Instructor will need. Many people have come to realise that this is a very optimistic proposal.

If you add to the lack of time that is available to learn the elements of driving instruction then the fact that the Instructor Colleges charge anywhere from £2000 for the education without guaranties of success it is easy to see the potential pitfalls that the eager trainee driving instructor may encounter.

Another spanner in the works when to comes to becoming a driving instructor is that there are only 3 failed attempts allowed for stage 3 before which a candidate must wait a further 2 years to be eligible to reapply. When you take into account the very low pass rate for Stage 3 and the restriction on the number of attempts it makes it fairly imperative that Stage 3 is given all the correct preparation that is possible to help maximise the chance of success in the exam.

So what is best practice when it comes to preparing for this stage of the exam to become a driving instructor? Well the first thing is to realise that it is very difficult to pass it with 2 weeks in class education. In fact, it is nigh on impossible. Learning how to instruct is a learning process that takes time. Thankfully this process can be speeded up with the correct educational materials and a good Instructor. Asking driving Instructors in the business already in your area will gleam some good recommendations in respect to a good local Instructor. Whilst it is not an absolute essential that they are ORDIT registered it is essential that they have experience teaching fellow instructors. As regards educational materials then there is a large supply of books that can help but what can be more effective is watching the learning take place in a video.

Combining the good instructor, books and videos will help greatly to a person’s success when it comes to stage 3 in their quest to become a driving instructor. After success in that endeavour then there is the small matter of getting a car, advertising, equipment, teaching aids, advertising, book keeping, advertising, and even more advertising and then finally you will be able to achieve the estimated earnings that are advertised in the media.

If you watched the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics in China, then you’ll be fully aware of the story of Yang Peivi, the seven year old due to sing the opening ceremony anthem “Ode to the Motherland”. An international scandal ensued when, at the last minute, Yang Peivi had her place taken by Lin Miaoke because Peivi’s teeth failed to meet the high cosmetic dentistry standards of the Beijing organising committee. They had decided that “the child on camera should be flawless in image, internal feelings and expression,” a standard of which they felt Peivi did not meet.

What could she do about her teeth, you may ask. Well, if you found yourself in a position where you felt you were being overlooked because of your teeth then the answer may well be cosmetic dentistry, which is an area of ever-growing interest to consumers and observers alike. There has been steady growth in the field ever since the realisation that dentistry need no longer concern itself with only the practical; that it can do more for people than simply filling teeth and extracting them.

Cosmetic dentistry is commonly seen as a practice that improves upon the aesthetics of one’s teeth and, by extension, one’s mouth and face. The aesthetic aspect alone causes an increasing amount of customers to go for a procedure that they believe will improve their chances in various facets of life, from love and relationships to the professional side of life, particularly in making a better impression when meeting clients.

For the majority of consumers who opt for cosmetic dentistry, however, it is about much more than the aesthetic changes to their features. Many people choose to receive such treatment in order to boost their confidence and their self-esteem, which generally happens when they don’t feel the need to worry about their appearance. This extra confidence and self-esteem has a positive effect on people, which, as any confident person will tell you, does just as much if not more when it comes to relationships or employment.

There are several procedures now available to consumers who wish to have cosmetic dentistry. Teeth Whitening (or tooth bleaching) is perhaps the most commonly available and widely used. It is a non-invasive treatment, which produces a visibly noticeable difference. In many cases teeth appear to have been ‘brightened up’.

Dental Implants are another popular treatment. When a tooth is lost dental implants replace the missing tooth and support a crown without the need to damage or compromise adjacent teeth. Furthermore where a number of teeth have been lost they can act as bridge retainers and support several teeth thereby removing the need to wear removable dentures.

Other procedures include White Fillings (which are mercury free and routinely used addition to the fast moving world of adhesive) and Metal Free Crowns. Metal Free Crowns generally allow the natural colour of the tooth to show, by utilising a natural looking finish that includes the shade variances that occur in natural teeth. This removes any possibility of the unsightly black line that can show through in crowns containing metal and porcelain.

Veneers are another option that somebody interested in receiving cosmetic dentistry might opt for. These effectively reface the front of teeth taking approximately 0.5 mm depth of the natural tooth structure. The porcelain veneers are then adhesively bonded to the natural tooth structure. They are an effective and relatively conservative method of dealing with spaces between teeth, unsightly staining or discolouration, rotated teeth and chipped teeth.

Importantly, all these treatments are designed to enhance both the self-esteem and confidence of a patient and, beyond all else, this is the main reason for the continued growth and interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

Adornments To Make A Fantastic Wedding Reception

Decorating the wedding reception — from choosing linens, centerpieces to gifts for your guests, can often be as exciting and fun as the wedding ceremony itself. It is important to consider the appearance of your reception, and how it can accommodate your guests for they will mostly spend their time sitting at their table. Decorating the reception area is the perfect time for you to let your creativity flow and create a spectacular event for your friends and family to remember for all the time.

There are many great and creative ideas that you can use in designing your wedding reception. You can start by thinking about table linens and how they can work well with your overall theme. Perhaps you want to focus on a specific theme. Your theme can be anything and deciding for it can be very personal. May choose a theme that is a time or period like retros, or perhaps season-based spring lawn, or a color-driven design that can reflect your favorite palette.

Your reception include several big things like tables, chairs, buffet, walls and ceiling. These are all very important which can help bring your theme to life, plus other detailed decors and subtle touches that will allure your guests as they sit and mingle or move around.

Table Linens and Table Decors. Begin with thinking from a distance on what your reception would look like if being decorated with a certain choice of table linen. Then make an up close from the perspective of a guest sitting down to dine. From a distance, determine if your tables have a look of splendor and elegance, or just have a simple beauty. Will they enhance the entire area with visual delight, or serve as a neutral backdrop for something else you would rather prefer at the reception?

The Colors. Decorated tables set the theme of your entire reception and inspire your guests when they are seated. Choosing and using the color carefully is absolutely a smart idea. Less is more. Choose a wedding table linen of basic white or ivory and accentuate the table with natural elegant colors of flowers or the refinement of ribbon or decorative fabric. Or perhaps, use a colored or patterned table linen and choose one thematic color for your table decor. Whatever color scheme you choose, a candlelight will show it off best.

Other Details. Your guest will spend most of their time at the reception. Other details include the lighting. Lighting your reception tables makes an impressive attraction to your guests. Beautiful, low light makes a wonderful glow for everyone. This is something that can make a feeling of intimacy and passion to everyone involved. You can use candles, candelabra and floating candles.

To further delight your guests, add small details that brings smiles, appreciation and good impressions. Include small beautiful wedding favors at their place settings. There are lots of adorable wedding favors for you to choose from, of course choose the favors according to your theme also. What Makes Groomsmen Gifts Special?

Groomsmen are important people in the wedding party on the side of the groom. Once you have decided to play the role of groomsman, you should understand your obligations before hand. Being one of the groomsmen is not easy, there are several tasks and responsibilities you should do to help the groom get through all his wedding preparations. Therefore, you and the rest of your pals deserve to be thanked and acknowledged. And as a result, the groom should take into consideration selecting ideal groomsmen gifts. He should make sure he all get them right.

When choosing ideal wedding gifts for your groomsmen, you should first think about their personalities. Perhaps it may seem to be very obvious but there are many grooms that don’t really think about what their groomsmen like as a person. Try to ask yourself, what type of personality do they have? What are their hobbies, interests and past time? You should know them well for you to be able to answer these questions. After having answers, you are now ready to pick out ideal gifts accordingly. Remember, you don’t have to buy a certain gift because that is mostly used by men. Generics can be very boring sometimes, so it is always better to think beyond traditional men’s gifts ideas.

Second, think of something they will really appreciate about their past. You might want to give gifts that are related to their past hobbies, interests and likes. If you don’t have any clue about it, ask their family, wife or girlfriend. If you know what they have appreciated in the past, you will know more about what they will appreciate in the future. Or might as well ask them directly what gifts they would love to receive.

Third, consider functional wedding presents. The more useful the gifts are, the more they will appreciate them. Buy something that they can use regularly. If they are professional businessmen, hand them engraved business pens, or perhaps business card holders. If the budget is not an issue for you, why not elegant leather bags or engraved watches. You could also refer your gifts to their regular hobby. If they love drinking beer after work, present barware like mugs, beer stein, flasks, shot glasses and such.

Lastly, think unique, stylish and personalize. Making the gifts for groomsmen personalize is turning them into unique mementos. Consider purchasing custom-made items like sports bags, key rings, cufflinks, barware, and other engavable and embroidable items which you can add your own personal touch. Personalized gifts are special memorabilia that your buddies will definitely treasure in the years to come. Also, do not compromise the quality of your presents just because they are affordable. Remember, one thing that makes the gift look stylish and special is its quality. It is still better not to settle for less. Select the one that could last for years without shrinking beauty. Find reliable online stores that can make your gifts personalize. Some of these stores ask for extra few charges for personalization but there are also other stores that offer the service for free.

While a majority of the financial markets the world over are facing a grim picture, one of the few places that has not been affected by this is Dubai. Development continues at an unprecedented pace and properties currently under construction will not be ready to be occupied till 2010. A large number of investors worldwide are looking at Dubai as a very viable option. The resale and rental markets too have seen no negative impact.

There were analysts who felt that Dubai’s aims were unrealistic and too high, but Dubai now is one of the safest and most lucrative places in the world to make real estate investments. One of the principal reasons for this is the burgeoning resale sector, which refuses to slow down. There is no dearth of confidence when it comes to investing in the Dubai real estate market. One should not forget that this is Dubai’s development’s early stage, and with what it has achieved so far combined with future plans, investors are assured of reaping good results.

A recent report said that prices of properties currently under construction would increase by 25% whilst the construction goes on, and by up to 55% upon completion. With returns like these, it is not surprising that interest factors remain high.

Dubai might no longer have large resources of oil, but the revenue that was generated when it did, was used for an enormous building program to make Dubai a leading financial and tourist centre. Construction is so commonplace that it would be hard to walk a block without witnessing some new structure being made or renovated.

Amongst the most talked about upcoming projects, the Island of Ireland is one. It consists of beach-facing homes, impressive villas and penthouse suites. Spread over an area of 225,000 square feet, it is home to cafes by the sea, a marina, restaurants, boutiques, a spa, and other facilities. It is a perfect mix of opulence and harmony, and has already seen many buyers.

Another favourite amongst investors is the Palm, situated at Jumeirah. The project has the appearance of a gigantic date palm and is completely man made, using close to a hundred million cubic meters of sand. Its boundaries stretch from Dubai’s mainland into the gulf. The Palm has also addressed Dubai’s shortage of beaches, doubling the existent coastline. A monorail is to ferry people across the island. David Beckham, Joe Cole and Michael Owen, all famous footballers from England, have already bought property here.

A slight slowdown can be possibly witnessed amidst the current credit crisis but that by no means takes anything away from investing in Dubai. Real estate prices have gone up ten times in the last six years. Dubai is facing a shortage of ‘ready to occupy’ properties, which is resulting in the demands of investors not being fulfilled. There are predictions that say prices will increase by up to 10% by this summer’s end. With no signs of slowing down, investing in properties for sale in Dubai, should be looked at one of the safest investment options as of now.

Oxygen Therapy For Weight Loss

The chemistry sounds very straightforward. Human body fat is a combination of three elements - hydrogen, carbon and oxygen molecules (plus other substances that are stored within the fat cells).

Add extra oxygen to the body fat, and in theory it should break down into two well known substances:

1: Hydrogen & oxygen molecules (H2O - water, which enters the blood stream, goes through the kidneys and is then excreted via urination); &

2: Carbon & oxygen molecules (CO2 - carbon dioxide, which is excreted via respiration).

Oxygen or Ozone Therapies are used by a number of alternative medicine practitioners around the world. It is more popular in Europe than in the USA. Practitioners are also found in Canada and Mexico.

Despite being banned in some countries and certainly debunked by large sections of the “conventional” medical profession, there is plenty of evidence that oxygen therapy produces health benefits for many conditions far cheaper, much faster and without the side effects of patent drugs.

Oxygen therapy is usually administered in one of two ways:

1: A facial mask attached to an oxygen tank, so that the patient breaths in oxygen for many hours of the day; or

2: Daily sessions of diluted hydrogen peroxide administered via an intravenous drip.

Given the straightforward chemical composition of body fat discussed above, does Oxygen Therapy actually work for weight loss? I decided to contact a number of practitioners in various parts of the world and ask them if, when treating patients for other ailments using oxygen therapies, weight loss was ever seen as a side-effect of their treatment.

All the doctors who replied responded that no such weight loss factor has ever been observed that they could credit to the oxygen therapy itself, and not the condition they were treating.

It seems that empirical evidence to support the theory that oxygen therapy could reduce body fat into the easily excreted H2O and CO2 is lacking.

Still, not everyone is convinced. The chemistry appears fine on paper, so something is missing in the implementation. Finding that missing factor could be crucial in the battle of the bulge, the quest for weight loss, and conquering obesity.

Books have been written promoting special breathing techniques for weight loss. Although there are sceptics, there are also many people around the world who swear by the success they have achieved in losing weight via these breathing techniques.

The theory behind these breathing techniques is not merely due to the intake of the oxygen, but that the human body’s metabolic process expels waste matter, including carbon dioxide, when we breath out. Our air intake is higher in oxygen than what we expire, and we breath out more carbon dioxide than we breath in.

The breathing technique therefore seeks to encourage and maximize the expulsion of carbon dioxide from our bodies - carbon dioxide that is the waste matter created when the oxygen dissolves body fat.

Personally, I must admit to being impressed though not thoroughly convinced. It is quite reasonable to assume that the people who are disciplined enough to follow this breathing technique diligently for several weeks or months are probably motivated enough to also be doing other things (dietary, psychologically, etc.) that will be causing the weight loss.

Still, it fits the basic (unproven) theory that adding oxygen to body fat should result in weight loss. Furthermore, it is harmless, so long as adequate dietary intake of antioxidant vitamins and minerals are being consumed. Whether the actual results are from the technique itself or of a more psychosomatic nature is immaterial if it works, is free and available to all, and has no adverse side effects.

By all means, add these deep breathing exercises to your overall toolbox of synergistic weight loss treatments.

Still, there is one more form of oxygen therapy (not usually recognized as such) that even the sceptics would have trouble disputing.

It is more commonly called exercise. More accurately, aerobic exercise. (Aerobic simply means “air breathing”.) It is exercise that makes you huff and puff, deepening your breathing. It is and always has been one of the most fundamental parts of any successful weight loss program.
